In 1997, in a joint venture with GE Capital, RGRE acquired a portfolio of 11 UK properties from Hermes comprising office, industrial and retail assets. After buying the GE Capital share of the portfolio in 2000, we managed, redeveloped and sold all the assets by 2006. The portfolio yielded cash profits of 7X equity over 8 years.
This multi-property, mixed-use portfolio acquisition was made in a joint venture with GE Capital and Ex-Lands plc. Over a four year period, the assets were sold at a significant profit.
